Find Your Path, Fulfill Your Potential.

You may have arrived here because…

However you came across this page, I’m thrilled you’re here. Take a look to see if my career counseling might be right for you.

You might manage these challenges by delaying career decisions or staying in a role without a clear path forward.

You may feel uneasy as the workweek approaches, wondering whether your current path still fits your goals. You might feel disconnected, uncertain, or unsure how to move forward.

Persistent dissatisfaction in your professional life can cause you to second-guess your abilities and potential. This can eventually lead to burnout and feelings of hopelessness, making it even harder to envision a fulfilling career.

The constant comparison to others’ achievements and the fear of disappointing those around you can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, and a lack of motivation. This internal conflict makes it challenging to identify and follow a career path that aligns with your values and passions, leaving you feeling lost and uncertain about your future.

You might have become disconnected from your professional goals and fear losing the security of your current role. You may not know where to begin because your experience has been meaningful, even if your next step is starting to look different.

If this is you: you need a space where you can explore your career aspirations with clarity and confidence, and start creating a path that is both fulfilling and aligned with your values.

Discovering Your Professional Potential.

I see your career journey as a significant part of your life that impacts your sense of self and your overall happiness. Our career choices reflect our interests, values, and inherent traits, making work an extension of our personal identity. When our personality and work environment are in alignment, we get to express our true selves and find greater fulfillment in our professional lives.

You don’t always have to make a big shift in your career to find fulfillment. Sometimes, finding the right role within your current industry can make a huge difference. Other times, simply exploring different options can help you feel more at peace with staying where you are, knowing it’s the right choice for now.

In addition to offering practical tools for career planning and development, I also help you see how taking inventory of your strengths and passions can guide you toward a more satisfying career. It is possible to build a career that not only meets your professional goals but also enriches your personal life.

I love to empower you to approach career decisions with confidence, set realistic and achievable goals, and navigate the complexities of career transitions.

My Experiences with Career Counseling

I’ve worked with students and alumni providing them with practical skills and experiential learning so they could discover their passions and feel empowered to pursue them. I guided individuals in various areas, including career exploration, resume building, job searches, and mock interviews.

I also have experience with career assessments to help you through whichever phase of your career you might find yourself in. Some of those tools are the Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, YouScience, career values card sort, and O*Net OnLine. In addition to utilizing assessments, I will also help you look at some of your early recollections, role models, and even favorite stories or TV shows so you can make sense of your past experiences and use them to construct a meaningful and fulfilling career path.

In addition to helping others with their career paths, I went through my own process of career exploration after a successful decade in IT. It felt uncomfortable to consider a new direction while honoring the experience I had already built. Is this the right decision? Can I actually do this? What if I’m not good at it? Eventually, I found answers to these questions with the support of my family, friends, and therapist.

I was ultimately able to take a thoughtful leap into a new chapter, and I can honestly say it became one of the most meaningful decisions I made.

By combining my clinical training, career counseling experience, and personal career transition, I’m able to more fully understand career questions while guiding you through exploration, development, and growth.
