Anxiety and Depression Therapy

Develop Inner Peace and Emotional Resilience.

You may have arrived here because…

However you came across this page, I’m thrilled you’re here. Take a look to see if my therapy for anxiety and depression might be right for you.

You might cope with these feelings by withdrawing from social interactions and avoiding activities that once brought you joy.

Daily stress can feel overwhelming, making each day seem like an uphill battle. Sleepless nights and constant distractions fill our minds with worries, uncertainties, and doubts.

The bombardment of information from social media and news reports only heightens our anxiety, making it seem like the only reasonable response to the world’s chaos. This constant influx of negativity can make us feel overstimulated and unable to relax, further exacerbating our stress levels.

In this state, you may find yourself pulling away from social interactions and avoiding activities that you once enjoyed. The persistent stress can lead to a cycle of anxiety and depression, where the weight of the world feels too heavy to bear. This can leave you feeling isolated and disconnected, further deepening feelings of hopelessness and making it even more challenging to find joy and motivation.

The constant state of worry and sadness can cause you to overthink every aspect of your life, leading to physical symptoms like insomnia, fatigue, stomach issues, headaches, eating disorders, and other kinds of addictions.

If this is you: you need a space where you can discover the source of your anxiety and depression and process repressed feelings so you can feel empowered, supported, and hopeful about the future.

I see Anxiety and Depression as Multifaceted

I view anxiety and depression as two sides of the same coin, signaling from our mind and body that something needs our attention. Sometimes we have to turn inward and other times we have to focus on our external environment in order to make the desired changes, helping us to achieve a balanced and fulfilling life.

Our minds are incredibly protective and wonderful, and these symptoms are our mind’s way of demanding that we address deeper issues. I help you get to the root of anxiety and depression by going where the pain is. As we dig deeper and uncover pain, I create a safe space to process those painful feelings.

In addition, I offer evidenced based tools such as CBT tools, thought exercises, positive self talk, re-framing, and much more so you can stretch your mind and build resilience.

I help you reconnect with yourself and find a sense of peace. By understanding and addressing the origins of your anxiety and depression, you can build meaningful relationships, find meaning and purpose in life, and feel confident in your ability to manage your mental health.

My Experiences with Anxiety and Depression Therapy

In my work with clients, I’ve found that people from all walks of life share similar struggles with anxiety and depression, feeling trapped in their minds and caught in a cycle of fear, sadness, worry, hopelessness, and isolation, making it difficult to maintain daily responsibilities or find enjoyment. Despite things seeming normal on the surface, they feel overwhelmed and believe no one else understands their pain.

This sense of disconnection is common when you’re feeling anxious or depressed. To help you reconnect with the present moment, I work with you to discover personalized exercises that promote feeling centered, whether it’s through mood tracking apps, thought journals, or mindfulness practices.

Clients often describe my presence as calming and warm, which helps them feel at ease. By combining my clinical training with my natural calmness, I support you in feeling anchored and stable as you uncover the root causes of your anxiety and depression, so you can find meaning, purpose, and serenity.
